6201 Aluminum Alloy Conductor Covered Line Wire is used for overhead transmission and distribution line. Covered line wire is not an electrically insulated cable. Therefore, it should be installed on insulators, and users should treat line wire as bare conductor for personal safety.
Conductors are aluminum 1350-H19, alloy 6201-181, or ACSR conductors, concentrically stranded and covered for weather proofing with polyethylene, high density polyethylene (HD) or crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE).
