Application

ACSR Aluminum Conductor Covered Line Wire is Aluminum Covered Line Wire is intended for use on secondary distribution lines that are suspended in the air.
Since covered line wire is not electrically insulated, it must be installed as a bare conductor. Weather-related circuit interruption is prevented by the insulation.

Construction

Conductors are ACSR Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced, concentrically stranded and covered for weather proofing with polyethylene, high density polyethylene (HD) or crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE).
