Application

ACSR/GZ conductors are widely used in overhead transmission and distribution lines of various voltage levels.Due to its reliability and strength-to-weight ratio, ACSR are suitable for all practical spans of timber poles, transmission towers and other structures. They have been one of the most popular choices for electrical systems.

Advantages

Aluminum conductors, galvanised steel reinforced ACSR/GZ has the characteristics of simple structure, low line cost, convenient erection and maintenance, large transmission capacity, and is conducive to laying across rivers and valleys and other special geographical conditions.
At the same time, it has good electrical conductivity and sufficient mechanical strength, tensile strength High strength, the distance between tower poles can be enlarged, etc.

Construction

Aluminum conductors, galvanized zinc steel reinforced ACSR/GZ is made of multiple non-insulated single wires twisted together.
The inside is a steel core(single or twisted core), and the outside is twisted with aluminum wires around the steel core.
The steel core's primary function is to increase strength, and the aluminum stranded wire's primary function is to convey electrical energy.

ASNZS 3607 ACSRGZ Aluminum Conductors Galvanised Steel Reinforced (2)

Packing

Delivery lengths are determined from a consideration of such factors as physical drum dimensions, drum weights, span length, handling equipment or the customer’s request.

Packing Materials

Wooden drum, steel-wooden drum, steel drum.
