Conductors:
This wire's aluminum conductors are made either as compressed sequences or as condensed strands. The benefit of a compressed conductor is decreased mass. Extremely flexible, stranded conductors typically have lower electrical resistance while compressed conductors are frequently harder and stronger. In applications where adaptability is required, stranded conductors reduce power loss and are therefore easier to employ.
The surface etching on the two conductors of the aluminum 600 V URD cable helps to distinguish them from one another. The color for the neutral conductor is frequently striped yellow.

Insulation:
