Application

For fixed indoor and outdoor installations, SANS 1507-4 Cu/XLPE/SWA/PVC Cable refers to XLPE-insulated steel wire-armoured PVC-sheathed power cable
SANS standard Cu/XLPE/SWA/PVC Cable is directly buried in free-draining soil. Power lines with an A.C. 50Hz, rated voltage of 0.6/1kV are currently often used to transmit and distribute power using XLPE PVC armored cable.
They have sturdy constructions. Depending on the system being utilized, such as a three-phase four-wire system or a three-phase five-wire system, different cable specifications might be chosen.
