Application
In commercial, industrial, and power circuit producing plants, MV 105 Cable is appropriate for primary power and distribution circuits.
According to NEC Article 318, single conductor cables can be labelled for CT Use and put in a ladder cable tray if they are 1/0 AWG or bigger. Specially designed MV-105 cable with water-blocking conductor and water-blocking adhesives is placed in high-humidity installations.
Construction
Conductor:
Copper conductor class B under ASTM B3. or aluminum alloy 1350, class A or B, according to ASTM B 231.
Conductor Shield:
Insulation-bonding thermosetting extruded semiconducting cover that is free peeling from the conductor.
Insulation:

Insulation Shield:
With regulated adherence to the insulation, extruded thermosetting semiconducting shield strikes the ideal compromise between electrical integrity and simplicity of peeling.
Metallic Shield:
Copper tape that is flat, uncoated, and 5 mil thick is applied helical with a minimum 20% overlap to create the metallic shield. For phase identification, a Mylar ribbon is put longitudinally under the copper tape shield for the 1C with Red, 1C with Blue, and 1C with None phases.
Grounding Conductors:
Three bare stranded copper conductor, one in each interstice.
Fillers:
Non hygroscopic fillers, forming a firm and cylindrical cable core.
Binder Tape:
Poly glass tape.
Jacket:
Black, sunlight resistant, flame retardant PVC jacket tightly applied over the binder tape.
