Application

All Aluminum Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced is Used as bare overhead transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. AACSR All Aluminum Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced offers optimal strength for line design. Variable steel core stranding enables desired strength to be achieved without sacrificing ampacity.

Construction

Aluminum wires are concentrically stranded about a steel core.
Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease.
To the core or infusion of the complete cable with grease.

1. Steel part: Zinc- coated steel wires, one or multi-wires concentric stranded
2. Aluminium alloy: Aluminium alloy wires, concentric stranded

Packing

Delivery lengths are determined from a consideration of such factors as physical drum dimensions, drum weights, span length, handling equipment or the customer’s request.

Packing Materials

Wooden drum, steel-wooden drum, steel drum.

● AACSR bare conductor meets or exceeds the following ASTM standards:
● B-398 Specification for Aluminum Alloy 6201 J81 Wire for Electrical Purposes
● B-711 Concentric Lay Stranded Conductors, Aluminum Alloy, Steel Reinforced (AACSR)
● B-341 Aluminum Coated (Aluminized) Steel Core Wire for Aluminum Conductors, Steel Reinforced (ACSR/AZ)
● B-498 Zinc Coated Steel (Galvanized) Core Wire for Aluminum Conductors, Steel Reinforced (ACSR)
● B-500 Zinc Coated and Aluminum Coated Stranded Steel Core for Aluminum Conductors, Steel Reinforced (ACSR)
